Happy Easter, what a glorious day Sunday is, yesterday was a mixed weather day and slight delay. On an icy snow covered hill you don't stop to let out passengers but someone in BMW did! Needless to say he was stuck. My tour bus was already going down the hill. No issue, stop close to the side that has a bank not the ravine and wait. Time for more guest questions.
Truly love the tour guide job I have. Every day is different. New guests, new weather, new scenery.

Happy Easter from a very snowy Iceland! 🐣

Even though it’s officially April, Mother Nature clearly isn't ready to let go of winter just yet. Locations like the majestic Gullfoss are still tucked under a thick blanket of snow, and the paths can be quite icy.

If you’re heading out to explore with us this week, we want to make sure you stay cozy and safe. We definitely recommend dressing in your warmest layers and, if you have them, tossing a pair of minispikes in your bag for that extra grip on the trails.

Have you ever celebrated Easter in such a snowy atmosphere?

Do you already have plans for New Year's Eve 25/26?

This year, we are organizing a super cool New Year's trip, during which you can celebrate the end of the year like an Icelander!

The plan is simple but epic: we'll jump in a minibus to visit the traditional community bonfires, learn about the local Icelandic NYE traditions from our guide, and then find the perfect spot to watch the city's massive fireworks display. We'll celebrate midnight with a champagne toast, sparkles, and sweet treats!

If you want to join us for this unique Icelandic celebration, you can check out the details and grab your spot here, or get in touch directly for a small discount 🥳

Part 2 of our Snaefellsnes Tour 🗻
After a delicious lunch, Trond led us to a hidden gem known mostly to locals: the Svörtuloft Lighthouse and its neighboring bird cliffs. The rain only amplified their mystical aura, creating a truly atmospheric scene.

Next, we journeyed to the majestic Mount Kirkjufell, famously featured in "Game of Thrones." We ventured off the main road again, winding through picturesque lava fields that felt straight out of a fairy tale – it's easy to believe in elves when you're there!

Our day concluded at Selvallafoss, also known as the "sheep's waterfall." We were incredibly lucky to witness sheep gracefully walking behind the cascade, providing an absolutely enchanting end to our adventure! 🥰

Here's a peek at our recent Snæfellsnes Tour - Part 1! ☺️
Our small, 9-person group was so lucky to have Trond as our guide – he's a genuine local who knows the Snæfellsnes Peninsula like the back of his hand.
Beyond the well-known attractions, Trond added to the tour three special bonus stops that only locals typically discover (we won't reveal which ones 😉)
We even saw some seals basking on the rocks in the ocean and savored the best lamb soup around.
It was a truly immersive experience in local Icelandic culture 👌
