Another spring season comes to an end at Battle Hill. The lodge is now closed until August, but there were still sea trout in the rivers as we wrapped things up this week.

What a season it has been.

We logged record numbers of sea trout this spring and welcomed fantastic guests from Iceland, the USA, the UK, Germany, and South Africa. Great fishing, great company, and many unforgettable moments along the riverbanks.

Now the focus shifts toward the summer season, with resident trout, Arctic char, and Atlantic salmon taking center stage across Iceland in the coming months.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this spring season: guides, guests, friends, and partners.

Here’s a big photo gallery from the spring at Battle Hill. 🎣

See you again in August.

Two unforgettable weeks at Battle Hill to kick off the season.

We’ve been lucky to host an incredible group of guests, enjoy great food around the table, and most importantly see some seriously solid fishing. Conditions kept us on our toes early on, but despite the mix, the river produced well with consistent action throughout both weeks.

Week 2 wrapped up with some wild weather, pushing water levels up and making things interesting heading into Week 3. It’s a bit of a challenging start, but as the rivers settle over the next day or so, we’re expecting things to turn on in a big way.

Stay tuned. This could get very good, very quickly.

Greenland, anyone? 🇬🇱
Fishpartner CEO Kristjan is heading out on an unforgettable trip to Greenland from July 15–22 this summer, and we have a few spots open if you want to join.
We’ll be staying at a top-quality fishing camp, likely the best fishing accommodation you’ll find in Greenland. Expect crystal-clear streams packed with stunning Arctic char, plus opportunities for saltwater cod fishing.
This is raw, untouched wilderness at its best, with dramatic landscapes, incredible food, and a true adventure from start to finish.

It’s an exploratory trip, so the price will be especially attractive.
