This is why I love my job ;-)
I had the priviledge to guide the family Wolf for 2 weeks. Granparents, dougter and her husband and 2 wonderful grankids. Dr.Wolf 90yrs and his wife Mrs.Wolf 85yrs. trusted me to take them for a hike to Kattarhryggir in Þórsmörk, a part of Fimmvörðuháls one of the most popular hikes in Iceland. Dr. Wolf was still using the same hiking shoes as he remembered from 1962 which he bought in Austria on one of his hikes in the Alps. I also had th pleasure to tke them walking on Sólheimajökul glacier and many hikes around Iceland. My aim is to be able to do the same when I will be 90 years of age ;-) I loved beeing with them and the grankids were awesome. What an exprience and fun with nice people....Loved it.
