Meet the Arctic Fox! 🦊

Check out this Arctic Fox in her dark summer coat! Did you know she changes colors with the seasons? In summer, she's dark brown/grey to blend with rocks, and in winter, she turns white to match the snow. Her thick fur keeps her cozy in freezing temperatures, and she stores food for the winter. An adaptable eater, she enjoys small animals, berries, and even seaweed. Arctic Foxes are true survivors in the wild! 🌨️❄️

Ingjaldshólskirkja standing quietly against the Icelandic landscape ⛪️✨

This beautiful church on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula is one of those places that feels both peaceful and timeless, with the mountains as its backdrop. A true hidden gem that tells a little piece of Iceland’s history. 🌿

The lupines are beginning to bloom across Iceland! 💜

Every summer, these striking purple flowers blanket the landscape in vibrant color. Originally introduced from Alaska to help prevent soil erosion, they’ve since become a well-known and sometimes debated part of Icelandic nature. 🌿

While many love their beauty and seasonal glow, others are concerned about how widely they spread.

What do you think... are they a welcome sight or a bit too much?

Northern Lights Season Recap ✨

Our 2025–2026 aurora season ran from 20th of August to April 19th and it was a strong one!

Here’s the reality:

* 73% of our tours were successful - Almost 3 out of 4 tours saw the Northern Lights
* Some nights were “in-between” with partial sightings (11%)
* Only a small portion didn’t see them at all (14%)

The best chances came in deep winter (Jan–Feb) ❄️

The Northern Lights are wild and unpredictableand that’s part of the magic 💚
But with experience and persistence, your chances go way up.

We’re also incredibly proud of this:

⭐ 4.8/5 on Tripadvisor
⭐ 94% of travelers recommend us
🏆 Best of the Best 2025 (Top 1% worldwide!)

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Iceland

Northern Lights of the Week ✨

This week kept us working for it.
Rain, wind, and constantly changing skies made it a challenge from the very start. Every night meant adjusting routes, chasing clear gaps, and staying patient while the weather shifted around us.

But when it opened… it delivered 💚

The standout night was April 9th 🌌
After a difficult start, conditions improved inland and turned into something special. Strong activity, clear skies, and a late show with dancing lights and even pink colors lighting up the sky.

Northern Lights of the Week ✨

This week didn’t make it easy for us.

Storms, snow, and fast-changing conditions meant a few tough nights out there and not every tour got the clear skies we always hope for. That’s part of chasing the Northern Lights… sometimes nature keeps us on our toes.

But then came April 3rd and 4th 💚 Strong activity, dancing lights, and even moments where the sky exploded with color... from soft greens to vivid bursts overhead. The kind of nights where everyone just stands still and looks up.

Best Northern Lights of the Week! ✨

The standout night? March 22nd 🌌

Our guides were blown away by the show! According to their report, the aurora danced in vivid greens across the sky, with bursts of pink and purple peeking through. It was one of those nights where the lights seemed to move to their own rhythm, perfectly reflected in the icy landscapes around us.

Northern Lights of the Week ✨

What a week it’s been. The beginning gave us everything we could hope for.. clear skies, strong forecasts, and some absolutely stunning auroras lighting up the night 💚

Then Iceland reminded us who’s really in charge. Over the past few days, the weather hasn’t been on our side, and we’ve had to cancel tours while waiting for the skies to clear again and winds to slow down. :(
That’s the beauty (and challenge) of chasing the Northern Lights and patience is always part of the journey.

We’re already looking forward to getting back out there and sharing more magical skies with you very soon.

Stay tuned.... the lights will be back.
