After seeing a few dozens waterfalls, a client asked us "how many waterfalls are the in Iceland, really??". He was obviously expecting just the few famous ones. There are so many waterfalls around the country in all sizes and shapes. Here are two brother waterfalls, the big brother and small brother with their big beautiful basalt coloumns archs to top things off.

The Budir church on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The first church was built there in 1703. It was later demolished and a new one constructed. Among the valuable possessions of the church are a bell from 1672, an altarpiece from 1750, an old silver chalice, two messing candlesticks from 1767, and a door ring from 1703.

Kirkjufell (Icelandic: Church Mountain) is a 463 m high mountain on the north coast of Iceland's Snæfellsnes peninsula, near the town of Grundarfjörður. It is claimed to be the most photographed mountain in the country. Kirkjufell was one of the filming locations for Game of Thrones season 6 and 7, featuring as the "arrowhead mountain" that the Hound and the company north of the Wall see when capturing a wight.
