City Walk was launched on 7th may 2014 with a "Free" Walking tour as main attraction which quickly became a mandatory part of a visit to Iceland amongst visitors. The tour was the best rated one on Tripadvisor within months and additional staff was recruited to hold on to the theme and receive the traffic. Today we have activities for visitors throughout the year and service groups as well as individuals. We are looking forward to seeing you soon! The CityWalk team

Graduation 🍾 celebrations in MR today. tradition in high school involves costumes and scavenger hunt in Ironically the celebrations are held ahead of taking end term exams and receiving results. Some fortunate ones get to celebrate this day more than once 😆

Icelandic Security Protocols 😅 The gate to block vehicles from entering the street in front of Parliament has been broken for a month and out of operation. It has been solved with an orange cone standing there for a week now. 🇮🇸

We had a special guest appearance today on our 13:30 City Walk with our guide . Orri, Iceland’s only arborist, was attending to the oldest tree in Reykjavík with his crew. Orri gave an impromptu presentation on Icelands forestation, or lack of should we say. He told us the reason behind the lack of trees and the state of forestation Iceland today. Our guides can tell you all about it and you can see this beautiful old tree on your next walk with us!
