A lovely modern and newly renovated cottage only 40 minutes away from Reykjavik and right in the middle of the “Golden Circle”. It consists of two bedrooms and a bedroom/mezzanine floor for a total of 6 adults, the cottage allows additional person on a secondary mezzanine floor, each additional mattress is charges extra. One of the bedrooms

is fitted with a ceiling-window which can provide a unique view of the Northern Lights. Two twin beds and two single beds. Entering the cottage there is a kitchen on the right hand side fitted with an oven, stove, refrigerator and a dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is a washing machine, dryer and a bathroom with a shower. On the left hand there are two bedrooms and straight ahead there is a staircase up to the third bedroom with the ceiling-window. The living room consists of a large dining room table, a large sofa and a flat smart screen TV with satellite channels and a free Wi-fi. Outside the cottage there is a hot tub and a lovely terrace with a great view of Mount Ingólfsfjall and Mount Búrfell. In short distance to the north ca 35 km is the national park Þingvellir. In east about 53 km there is Gullfoss and Geysir. Selfoss is about 15 km to the south. In Selfoss you can get all service needed while staying in the Cottage. Across the road about 5 min walk, there is the Luxury Restaurant Grímsborgir. We do not allow any pets, party or feast. Smoking and e-vapors are not allowed indoors.
