BREAKING NEWS: Iceland's prime minister has this afternoon announced that Iceland plans to re-open its borders on, or possibly before, 15th June. People arriving in the country (both residents and tourists) will be given the opportunity to avoid two weeks' quarantine by undergoing COVID-19 testing at the airport instead. Details of the new system are expected around the end of May or start of June. In the meantime, travel to and from Greenland and the Faroe Islands is being de-restricted with immediate effect.
