🇮🇸 Just wow.
Our glaciers are not only a great place to explore but also a fantastic place to sharpen fundamental mountaineering skills we use in the big mountains. These awesome girls are headed to Chamonix in a month where they are going to climb Mont Blanc 🗻 Today we explored Falljökull, got our tools out, ice climbed and worked alot on crampon technique and travelling in difficult terrain.
It's awesome to be a part of jet another big mountain project of theirs. Tomorrow holds another adventure for us 👌🧗‍♀️

Svalbarði - Svalbard 🐻‍❄️
Sem kennurum í var okkur boðið í s*x daga fjellski leiðangur á Svalbarða en leiðangurinn var lokaferð nemenda í Arctic Nature Guide náminu sem kennt er þar.
Einstakur staður og virkilega skemmtileg upplifun að fá að ferðast um og kynnast útivist norðmanna betur 🐻‍❄️🏔️
Næst verðum við á fjallaskíðum ⛷️

Great group, great conditions and we managed to play the weather like a fiddle. Everything as it should be.

6 vikur af úrvals ísaðstæðum koma manni í gott form og hausinn kemst á réttan stað. Ánægð með að hafa skellt mér í þessa leiðslu í bakgarðinum.

Its almost crazy to think back to December and January and that we had 6 weeks of great ice conditions. Happy that I threw myself on lead on this beauty, 45 m WI4.

The neighboring route is a FA by myself, Árni, Dan and Svanhvít 😍

Hvílíkur ísklifurvetur !
Áttum frábæran dag í gær í Geldingagili í leiðinni Beikon og egg sem þeir Ívar og Einar klifruðu fyrstir manna árið 2006. Stórkostleg leið upp Svínafell sem heldur áfram að gefa 🏔️
