✨ La coffa, tra tradizione e stile

Lo sapevate che uno degli oggetti più iconici della Sicilia nasce…per lavoro?
La coffa siciliana, oggi simbolo di stile e artigianato, era in origine un semplice cesto utilizzato dai contadini per trasportare cibo e utensili nei campi.
Realizzata intrecciando fibre naturali come palma nana o giunco, la coffa era resistente, pratica e pensata per durare nel tempo. Ma, come spesso accade in Sicilia, anche gli oggetti più semplici si trasformano in qualcosa di unico: con il tempo, queste borse sono state decorate con nastri colorati, pompon, ricami e specchietti, diventando vere e proprie opere d’arte.
Oggi la coffa è un accessorio amato in tutto il mondo, simbolo di un’eleganza autentica che racconta storie di tradizione, manualità e identità.

Un oggetto quotidiano che racchiude l’anima creativa della Sicilia.
