Acquese, those who call this town home have been collecting the thermal waters for centuries. Some drink it, some use it in cooking for the sulfurous taste it gives (vegans!) .
Some like it just because no matter the temperature is outside, it is free heat bubbling up in the piazza, there for anyone who wants to take some.
Some stand and inhale deeply for a few minutes just enjoying the warm steam washing over them.
Acqui terme a place to stop hit pause and just breathe.
