Sabato 23 maggio torna la Notte Europea dei Musei e il Museo Archeologico Pietro Griffo la celebra aprendosi in notturna dalle 20 alle 23, con un biglietto d'ingresso simbolico di 1 euro.

Ma c'è di più. Alle 20.30 e alle 21.30 potrai partecipare a una visita guidata dedicata al culto di Demetra la dea più misteriosa e "notturna" della mitologia classica. Grazie agli archeologi di CoopCulture sarai condotto tra ex voto, terrecotte, gronde leonine e reperti unici del territorio agrigentino, ascoltando una storia che attraversa il mondo greco fino a Roma, tra fertilità, terra e cicli della vita.
Una collezione raramente vista di notte. Una dea che la notte l'ha sempre abitata.

Saturday, May 23rd, the European Museum Night is back and the Museo Archeologico Pietro Griffo celebrates it by opening after dark from 8 to 11 PM, with a symbolic entrance fee of just 1 euro.

But there's more. At 8:30 and 9:30 PM you can join a guided tour dedicated to the cult of Demeter the most mysterious and "nocturnal" goddess of classical mythology. Led by the archaeologists of CoopCulture, you'll be taken through ex votos, terracottas, lion-head waterspouts and unique artefacts from the Agrigento area, following a story that stretches from the Greek world to Rome, through fertility, earth and the cycles of life.
A collection rarely seen by night. A goddess who has always belonged to the dark.

🇮🇹 70 Artisti, un’unica Opera: arriva “Aperture” al MUDIA. 🖼️🤝

Cosa succede quando 70 artisti diversi si uniscono per creare un’opera corale? Dal 28 aprile, il Museo Diocesano di Agrigento ospita un esperimento artistico unico: 70 piccole tele che, insieme, aprono una finestra inedita sull'arte contemporanea.

Un evento imperdibile ma breve: hai tempo solo fino al 5 maggio per scoprire come tante visioni diverse possano fondersi in un solo racconto.
