The perfect view of all of San Sebastian is from the tower at Monte Igueldo, the 1912 amusement park on the opposite hill.

When you are in San Sebastian, drink Txakoli, the light, effervescent wine made along the coast by Getaria.

But, when choosing the perfect Basque cheesecake, take the recommendation of your server who recommended La Viña, opened in 1959, and known for its gorgeous, light, creamy cheesecake.

When we entered, EVERYONE had a cheesecake in front of them. Luckily, we could get a to-go order.

You can find tapas bars all over Logroño, but many are concentrated on these 3 streets:

1. Calle Laurel - the most famous
2. Calle San Augustin - one street away and less crowded
3. Calle San Juan - home of Ummm, No Solo Tapas

We arrived in Haro, one of our chosen wine regions to explore!

This little town packs a punch!

As the capital of Rioja wine, you can visit some of the best wineries within walking distance like Muga, CVNE, and La Rioja Alta. It's also the place to experience the Battle of Wine on June 29!
