Today’s stop in Pompeii🧡

Pompei is an ancient Roman city near Naples. In the year 79 AD, it was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, a volcano nearby. The city was covered in ash, which helped preserve buildings, streets, art, and even people as they were at that moment.

Today, Pompei is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. You can walk through the old streets, see houses, shops, theaters, and even ancient graffiti. It’s like stepping into a time machine and seeing how people lived 2,000 years ago.
