"In 1913-14, Bauchiero delivered a homogenous set of 12 composite vehicles... From the maker's drawing, these were all 13m-long, elegant coaches with balcony ends and wooden compartment, two 1st class compartments with a side corridor, a single third class saloon and a second toilet cubicle. Several of these have recently been restored to what is said to be near-original condition for charter work, but are now all single class... The restorees have a lot of ornamental brasswork"

🚂🚞 On 20 July and 17 August, come and join us for a unique trip on the historic train of Sardinia’s narrow gauge railways from Mandas to Laconi!

We’ll travel on the Bauchiero carriages, built in 1913 and restored in recent years for tourist trips. The day will include guided tours at a magnificent nuraghe near Isili and in the green, beautiful historic town of Laconi 🌳🌲🏰
