Assisi - Spello: The panoramic route you need to know 🐎🌿
Today we're taking you along one of the most iconic stages of St. Francis' Way, on the section connecting Assisi to Spoleto.
For those who choose to climb toward the meadows of Mount Subasio, the journey takes on a different feel.
After leaving the Eremo delle
Carceri, the path immerses you in a wild landscape that climbs until it reaches the silence of Sasso Piano: from here, the view over Assisi is incredible and the nature remains untouched. The descent then leads toward Spello, a village of Roman origins, walking among grazing
horses and groves of olive trees. 🚶♂️
