Il Santo is an old stone building, and was originally a look-out tower going back to the XIII century. It stands on the road leading to an characteristic little medieval village called Tignano. It has been recently renovated and has pleasant Tuscan-style furnishings. All of the bedrooms are equipped with mosquito netting and ceiling fans. Situated at the heart of Tuscany (35 kms from Siena, 20 from San Gimignano, 30 from Florence), the property is surrounded by splendid countryside full of vineyards, olive groves, woods, little lakes and paths where you can go for pleasant walks or along mountain-bike trails. Opposite the house is a well-tended garden with garden furniture leading gently down towards the area around the swimming-pool of 6x13m, about 50 metres from the house, surrounded by the splendid scenery of the tuscan hills amidst fruit trees and olive trees in a tranquil and secluded spot and entirely fenced-in. The large garden offers several areas for pleasant relaxation outside. Under a large tree is a table equipped for dining outside and a barbecue. There is also the following available on request: babysitter, cook, domestics for cleaning during the week and above all a warm welcome and helpfulness that will assure you a wonderful holiday. In a part of the house (which is detached on three sides, but with completely independent access from the outside) lives the owner. About 2 kms away is the town of Tavarnelle, equipped with all necessary services, along with a supermarket and restaurants.
