In this second interview, Andrea sits down with Paolo from Capitolo Riviera in Nervi to discover the philosophy behind the property, surrounded by nature and designed with a clear connection to its green setting. As Paolo puts it, the idea was to create “a park with a hotel, not a hotel with a park.”

A few unforgettable days discovering the timeless charm of Venice ✨

Recently, Awanthi spent a few days exploring Venice with her husband, discovering the city through its beautiful hotels, hidden corners, exceptional food and unforgettable views.

Their stay at Palazzina Grassi was a true highlight: an intimate and elegant retreat where impeccable service and thoughtful hospitality made every moment feel special. A private boat experience offered another perspective of Venice, revealing quiet canals, hidden corners and the authentic beauty of the city.

From aperitivi at the Hilton Molino Stucky rooftop, watching the lagoon glow at sunset, to memorable dining experiences at Palazzina Grassi and Rosa Rossa, to a wonderful site inspection at Orient Express Venezia , every moment added a different flavor to their Venetian escape.

What stood out most throughout the stay was the genuine hospitality. A special thank you to Edoardo and the wonderful teams who made Awanthi feel so welcome, with their warmth, kindness and attention to every detail.

A heartfelt thank you to our guests for sharing these beautiful words after a very special journey through Liguria 🤍

“It was one of the few services where I saw the happiness of the people and the importance this day had for them”

Their journey took them beyond the well-known Riviera, into the small villages of Lorsica and Favale di Malvaro, where a very personal connection to the region became the heart of the experience.

With the help of local people, they explored places connected to their family history, from the church and cemetery to a traditional textile workshop and a local museum, discovering stories and memories that brought their Italian heritage to life.

But what made the day truly unforgettable was the welcome they received from the community. The mayor and local residents came together to celebrate a very special birthday, with music, a beautiful cake and a heartfelt gathering that left both guests and locals visibly moved.

For us, this is what travel can be at its most meaningful: not simply visiting a place, but creating a moment of connection between people, families and communities, and leaving everyone with a story to remember.
