Italian Mountains ITALIAN MOUNTAINS is an association that aims to promote responsible tourism on Italian Alps - http:/www.italianmountains.org

The Italian region of Lake Orta and Maggiore, a few steps from bustling Milan, with pristine mountain valleys that surround them, until you get to the high peaks of the western Alps on the border between Italy and Switzerland, has a fantastic territory full of wonders cultural and natural. Our group of friends made up of independent travelers united by strong passion and desire for discovery and sharing, dedicated to travel the length and breadth of this beautiful corner of nature, traditions, architecture and atmosphere of other times. From our experience and passion of travel (also born by the organization from 2000 to now of many travel and trekking in Asia, South America and Africa, always looking for real places, with a strong personality and traditional culture), we had the idea to make known and to share a precious jewel of Italy almost closed to tourism. The places where we would take you are lakes and mountain valleys of an intimate and touching beauty, rich in history and deeply rooted in the traditions and we would like to get you there on tiptoe, in small groups, careful not to disturb the delicate balance of nature, not to be intrusive , walking with slow to catch emotions and unique sensations.
