Ligging: Casa del Tulipano bevindt zich in het centrum van Bossolasco, een leuk, levend

ig dorpje op 800 meter hoogte in de Alta Langa. In Bossolasco bevinden zich meerdere restaurantjes, waar je zowel ’s middags lekker kunt lunchen als ’s avonds dineren. Verder zijn er onder andere twee supermarktjes, een farmacia, een pizzeria met openbaar zwembad, een tabaccheria, een pasticceria en een postkantoor, allemaal op loopafstand van Casa del Tulipano. Op een uurtje rijden ligt Turijn, waar je doorheen kunt wandelen, musea bezoeken of je kunt laten verrassen door culinaire specialiteiten. Wat dichter in de buurt vind je plaatsjes als Barolo, Dogliani en Alba waar op iedere dag van de week wel een marktje te vinden is. Kortom, een fantastisch mooi gebied, de ideale plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van natuur, kunst, cultuur, lekker eten en goede wijn!

Gran Balon, BIG flea market in Turin. Lots of vintage clothes and furniture. Beautiful jewellery, vintage bags and much more. Fantastic! And of course a delicious lunch. Perfect day!

Today ☀️ good hike of 12 km (and a bit). Through the historic town of Fossano, then the hiking route sentiero del pescatori. Mostly flat landscape. Beautiful day!

Nice weather today ☀️, time for a good hike. We went to the lavender fields of Sale San Giovani, not far from Bossolasco. We took the blue trail of 9.75 km. The lavender had been harvested in the meantime, but otherwise a beautiful trail!
