Visiting Brindisi in June? You are lucky and can take a look at the Regata Brindisi - Corfu. This is an amazing sailing event that takes place every year. This time for the 40th edition! On Thursday, June 4, the event program opens along the Brindisi boulevard, close to the docks where the boats will be moored. The event program includes musical and cultural events, food and wine experiences, and some entertainment. The Regata itself will start on Sunday, June 7. More information on our website!

Today we visited the Fanuzzi Stadium in Brindisi and experienced a local football match 🇮🇹⚽️

Brindisi vs Taranto. Brindisi was recently promoted to serie D, and the atmosphere reflected that.

Walking through Brindisi, you’ll come across these classic Italian edicole.

They’re not just newsstands selling papers like La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, but small corners of everyday local life.

For tourists, they’re also perfect little stops to buy souvenirs, postcards or even an Italian puzzle book filled with word searches to improve your Italian skills 😀

During the ongoing renovation of the waterfront in Brindisi, old railway tracks have become visible again 🚂

These tracks were once part of the line leading to Brindisi Marittima, the former harbor station, in use from 1870 to 2006. Here, trains connected directly with ships departing for Greece and further east, and formed part of the historic route to India, known as the “Valigia delle Indie” 🚢

The redevelopment project will transform this historic area into a modern, pedestrian-friendly promenade, while briefly revealing a piece of the city’s transport history 🌴
