Just 30 minutes from Catania airport, ten minutes from the sea and perfectly located for day trips to Syracuse, Taormina, Mt. Etna, Noto and Ragusa. Centre of a former feudal estate from 1300, this villa is located at north of Syracuse looking out toward Mt. Etna and the Mediterranean sea. The original building, now converted into a villa, was the only abbey of the knightly order of St James of the Sword in Sicily. Only a knight from this order and from the most important aristocratic European families could hold the title of Commander of San Calogero. From the XIX century the property has become a stately home and after the recent restoration the villa offers modern comforts perfectly blended in the historical atmosphere that makes this property magical from many points of view.

In Sicily, even a simple walk through gardens, fountains, and flowers becomes an experience to remember. It’s the perfect place to relax and fall in love with beauty.

Among sun-warmed stone walls, the scent of citrus, and the slow rhythm of the Sicilian countryside: this is the real island vibe.
Every corner speaks of tradition, nature, and genuine hospitality.
A place where simplicity turns into lifestyle, and silence has the best soundtrack ever.
✨ Sicily, unfiltered.

Where every path leads to a secret,
every fountain whispers an old love story,
and nature is shaped like a masterpiece.
Born in the Renaissance, the Giardino all’Italiana is a dance of symmetry, sculpted hedges, plants, flowers and golden sunlight.
It’s not just a garden… it’s Italy’s way of saying welcome to beauty. 🇮🇹🌞

There’s a sense of stillness that belongs only to certain places.
A slow kind of time, suspended between past and present, where everything feels familiar — even if it’s the first time.
