The theater of is one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in Sardinia. It is located in the ancient city of Nora, near P**a, and is the only Roman theater discovered so far on the island. Built between the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD, it could host around 1,000 spectators and was used for theatrical performances and public spectacles.

The theater is well-preserved and offers a spectacular view of the sea, making it a stunning location not only from a historical perspective but also for its landscape. Today, it is occasionally used for cultural events and performances.

Il teatro di è uno dei siti archeologici più affascinanti della Sardegna. Si trova nell’antica città di Nora, vicino a P**a, ed è l’unico teatro romano finora scoperto sull’isola. Costruito tra il II e il III secolo d.C., poteva ospitare circa 1.000 spettatori ed era utilizzato per rappresentazioni teatrali e spettacoli pubblici.

Il teatro è ben conservato e offre una vista spettacolare sul mare, rendendolo un luogo suggestivo non solo dal punto di vista storico ma anche paesaggistico. Oggi viene occasionalmente utilizzato per eventi culturali e spettacoli.

🇬🇧 The cathedral of Cagliari conceals an architectural treasure: the Sanctuary of the Martyrs.

It contains the relics of the Martyrs found in the territory of the Cagliari diocese at the beginning of the 17th century.

The vault of the central chapel is decorated with rosettes, all different from each other, and diamond heads carved into the rock.
