🌲🌞 Sun is out and a perfect day for a walk in the hills high above Polaris research with P**a and Nora in the background. Polaris a d its grounds is open to the public and is a great place to hike and mountain bike with signposted trails varying in length and difficulty and for those that make the effort you are rewarded with breathtaking views of P**a and its surroundings. 🅿️ Free parking is available in all parts of Polaris research and there is also a bus service for those without their own transport **a **a **asardinia

🏖 Punta Molentis is a beach of 2 tales, one side with a beautiful super fine white sandy beach, the other rocky outcrop that takes the full brunt of the sea. Because of this, the sheltered side is always calm, shallow for a good distance from the shore making it ideal for families. The beach is a 10mins walk from the car park which is regularly patrolled, so make sure you park in the right zone. Services are limited, but there is a portable food truck offering refreshments, snacks and so forth. Great views looking out onto Capo Carbonara and Isola del Cavoli, well worth a visit 🏖

🌊 The cliffs at Portu Banda and much of Eastern Sardinia's coastline is physically striking and the red cliffs at Nebida are a perfect example of this. The viewing platform at Nebida is well worth a stop offering breathtaking panoramic of the coastline and famous Pan di Zucchero (Loaf of Sugar) a limestone island with vertical cliffs rising some 500m out of the sea and in summer months there is a great pizzeria/bar here which is a great spot to watch the sunset over the horizon 🌅 Be warned the SP83 coastal road is single lane with few places to overtake, so in the summer do not expect to get there fast so leave plenty of time for your journey ☝🏻 #сардиния

Sardinia - European Paradise

🏖 My Sardinian story began when I first visited the island some 20 years ago. The island was far less developed and known to relatively few people. Next to no-one spoke English, so I really had an uphill struggle on my hands to find out the very best that it had to offer, but what fun have I had finding out!!!

Travelling was the solution, which I did extensively and have amassed a treasure trove of first-hand knowledge on the best beaches, most romantic hidden bays, restaurants with the most gastronomic local dishes, beach parties and nightclubs with best cocktails, but perhaps the most important thing I have gained along this journey is friends.

The people I have met along the way have been crucial to discovering all these places, as local knowledge passed down from generation to generation is the key.

These friendships have developed into successful working relationships and I now consider many of the islands leading luxury hotel, villa and restaurant owners as my friends, and I am eager to share my experiences and pass this knowledge onto you, so you get the very most out of your visit to Sardinia.
