Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming the film crew from Nova Film Nord AB to our village of Caposele, in Campania, Southern Italy, as part of hosting the Workaction Sweden group.

Together, we embarked on outdoor adventures, met inspiring local entrepreneurs, and explored some of the authentic places and hidden gems that this undiscovered region has to offer. The goal of the project was to capture the soul of the destination and convey what makes it truly unique.

A heartfelt thank you to Nova Film Nord AB and Workaction Sweden for helping us share the true essence of our region, one that offers something beyond the ordinary: a slower pace of life, genuine connections, and experiences that simply can't be found in a travel brochure.

Four years ago, we started organizing a unique journey for students from Lund University, a journey beyond the usual tourist routes, to the unknown and authentic Sele Valley in Campania, southern Italy.

There are two Italys.

The first Italy is the one most people know: the iconic places, the major tourist destinations, and areas where overtourism has become a reality. It is a wonderful part of the country, but it represents only a small fraction, perhaps around 1% of Italy.

Then there is the second Italy.

The Italy that almost no one discovers. The small villages, the traditions, the food, the people, and the authentic culture that is still alive today, 99% of Italy.

This is the side we have chosen to show.

Through these journeys, we don’t only want to create a unique experience, but also contribute to the local economy in areas where many young people are forced to leave because opportunities are becoming fewer.

Travel can be much more than visiting a place. It can be a way to build connections, preserve culture, and bring new life to places at risk of being forgotten.

Over the past two years, we have developed a series of SUP tours in the archipelago of Södermanland (Sweden).

The goal has been to create experiences that allow people to get close to nature, move quietly through the landscape, and discover areas that are often only accessible from the water.
