The quality of a surface begins with its raw materials.

Selected Carrara marble and slaked lime: these are the foundations of Marmorino Naturale, one of Impex Color’s flagship products.

In this video, we take you through its journey, from raw materials and production to packaging in our iconic pails.

Today, that journey reaches a new milestone: an A+ rating for indoor air emissions, the highest rating under the French classification system, indicating very low emissions of the volatile substances assessed.

A tangible added benefit for a finish that brings the beauty of its raw materials and the heritage of Italian decorative craftsmanship to every space.

Watch the video to discover how Marmorino Naturale is made.

𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲, 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

The story of lime begins with limestone. Firing transforms it into quicklime; adding water produces slaked lime. The resulting lime putty is then left to mature.
A process that has shaped architecture and decoration for centuries.
In Marmorino Naturale by Impex Color, matured lime putty meets carefully selected marble powders: two materials, a long tradition of decorative finishes.

Mastery isn’t found in the bucket. It’s found in the wrist.

You can manufacture the finest mineral or acrylic plaster in the world—and at Impex Color, we are dedicated to that mission—but the final luxurious aesthetic depends entirely on the person holding the trowel.

This is where art and material science converge. Decorative finishing is a true craft, requiring an innate feel for the paste, precise pressure of the trowel, and an intuitive understanding of how the finish cures to create flawless, light-reflective surfaces. It is the artisan’s signature on the architecture.

At Impex Color, our commitment is to provide the canvas for this mastery. Our premium, highly-workable formulas are engineered to support the applicator’s hand, ensuring they can execute their vision seamlessly. We craft our finishes to flow with the artisan’s movement, allowing them to transform walls into powerful, textured architectural statements.

A master-level product demands a master’s touch to truly reveal its brilliance. We stand with the master applicators who bring Italian elegance to life.

📩 Are you an applicator looking to elevate your projects with authentic Italian materials, or a distributor seeking a partner focused on material excellence that supports the artisan? Let’s connect. Direct message me or visit our website to explore how our materials can power your next design.

Architecture should engage all the senses. ☕✨

This is DeCorten—our advanced decorative system designed to recreate the authentic look and tactile depth of oxidized Corten steel and weathered metal.

Notice how the oxidation process interacts with the bas-relief pattern. The deep, roasted rust tones contrast beautifully with the spontaneous touches of turquoise patina nesting inside the arabesque grooves. It's living alchemy on the wall.

Perfect for luxury hospitality spaces, boutique hotels, and high-end commercial interiors that demand an aristocratic, lived-in character without the weight and structural complexity of actual steel plates.

Which space would you transform with DeCorten?

Warm minimalism meets timeless Italian materiality.

In contemporary luxury residential design—from Los Angeles to Sydney—architects are moving away from flat, sterile walls. They seek surfaces with soul, texture, and organic depth.

Here, our Travertino mineral finish anchors this sun-drenched modern living room. Notice how the subtle, horizontally dragged pitted texture catches the natural light across the day, creating a soft, tactile backdrop that elevates organic modern furnishings.

Formulated from crushed natural marble and pure lime, it doesn't just emulate stone—it is stone.

Bring authentic Italian texture into your next residential project.

Nature is the ultimate architect. 🌿

As Biophilic Design continues to shape modern interiors, the demand for surfaces that breathe and evoke the natural world is stronger than ever.

From deep forest hues to soft sage, our mineral finishes offer more than just a color palette—they provide a tactile, organic experience. Because our lime-based products are crafted from natural elements, they interact with light with a softness and depth that synthetic paints simply cannot achieve.

Which shade of wellbeing belongs to you?

The unmistakable elegance of a true "spatolato" effect.

This is Stucco Da Vinci, our premium acrylic stucco designed to recreate the stunning visual depth and mirror-like gloss of classic Venetian plaster.

Here, applied in a warm, vibrant terracotta shade, it demonstrates the product's incredible color transparency and smooth workability. The overlapping trowel strokes create a dynamic, multi-layered surface that catches and reflects the summer light beautifully.

It brings classic Italian sophistication into contemporary spaces with uncompromising performance.
