La Casa Toscana is in Castagneto Carducci. On the upper level of the farmhouse, discover «Monte» & «Mare», two 1000 square foot (90 square meters) apartments for rent, surrounded by over 2 acres of garden (9000 square meters), with olive and fruit trees, and only 6 km from the beach. At the bottom level, you can take Italian cooking classes with Chicca and Cooking in Tuscany (https://www.facebook.com/cookingwithchicca). And if you love cycling just like us, you'll see infinite possibilities of rides. The house is located along the Strada del Vino which winds it's way through vineyards, olive orchards and poppy fields passing some of the most famous Super Tuscan wineries in Italy, like Sassicaia or Ornellaia. Hello friends, amici, amis! 🐾

Have you heard the news? I am nine months old today! 🎈

I’m a big boy now… though some people say I’m not even done growing yet!
To celebrate this special day, we walked up to Castagneto Carducci, right through
the olive trees, the vineyards, and up that very steep Via Bolgherese. ⛰️🍇

Luckily, when I arrived in Castagneto Carducci, Mariella gave me some water and, more importantly, a little something to get my strength back. A real treat! 🦴❤️

Otherwise, everything is great here. I absolutely love it when people come to visit the house. They are all so nice to me! I give them lots of licks (I’m not sure if they like it, but I sure do!), I roll onto my back so they can scratch my belly… and I climb right onto the lounge chairs when someone is already lying on them. It’s just my way of saying "I love you"… even if I squash them a little! 🤷‍♂️😂

My passion for gardening has now expanded to the vegetable patch irrigation system. I love irrigation. Well, mostly the hoses used for it. 💦

I love ripping them out and happily chewing on them. But I have a feeling this happiness isn't shared by everyone, because I get scolded quite a bit.

Honestly, after seeing me rip them out seven times and having to replace them seven times, you'd think they'd just give up, right? 🙄🌱

I promise I’m going to stop… until next time! 😇

🚲 A bike ride to Bibbona with our friend Andrea. A chat with the goat and sheep herder who has been a shepherd for 50 years. A climb (stunning!) that we hadn't done in a long time to reach the top of Biserno. And of course, a pistachio gelato at Tognoni: the best of the best. "Life is like a scoop of pistachio gelato. You never know what you're gonna get."

🇫🇷 Un tour à Bibbona avec notre ami Andrea. Une discussion avec le gardien des chèvres et des moutons qui fait ce travail de berger depuis 50 ans. Une montée (magnifique !), qu'on n'avait pas faite depuis longtemps, afin d'arriver au-dessus de Biserno. Et bien sûr, une glace à la pistache chez Tognoni, la meilleure des meilleures. La vie, quoi. "Life is like a scoop of pistachio gelato. You never know what you're gonna get."

🍧 Today, a little bike ride through the hills to discover 'Ca****fo nel Borgo,' the artichoke festival in Campiglia Marittima. We even got to try artichoke gelato at our friend's place, Gianna Tutta Panna! Have you ever tasted it?

Ciao friends, amici, amis, this is Merlot! 🐾

"Ah, finally!"

I’m not the one saying it. It’s the people who had to lift me into the trunk before our walks! 🚗💨

I think that by passionately devouring all my kibble, I was becoming heavier and heavier to carry…

So, they taught me how to jump into the car all by myself. And they taught me. And taught me. And taught me…

But now, guess what?

At almost eight months old, I can do it! 🏅🐶

One small jump for me, one huge relief for my humans' backs!" 🚗💨🏅

There’s just one thing I don’t understand, though.

Before, I used to be able to squeeze my way through to the front seats.

But now, it’s just not possible anymore. 🤨

If any of you know why, it would really help me out!
