One minute. One jump. One eclipse. 🌑🛹
Danny León spent months planning this moment with photographer José Ángel Izquierdo.
On August 12, during the first total solar eclipse visible from Europe in 27 years, Danny had just a few minutes to land the trick at the exact moment the sky went dark.
The team arrived a day early to set up the mini ramp and dial in the shot. Filming from 400 and 600 meters away with a telephoto lens, everything had to line up perfectly to capture Danny’s silhouette against the sun.
Skateboarding meets astronomy. And yeah, it was worth it. 🤯🌑
