We absolutely love it when we can host a sunset pizza party on a Friday, get the couple married on a Saturday, and then serve brunch and cocktails by the pool on Sunday. 2027/2028 brides we’d love to plan yours. If you are in Tuscany this month and looking at venues, come and eat at one.

On the nineteenth Buccelletti opens for the harvest dinner. The tables go out between the vine rows, the kitchen cooks what it cooks for the weddings here, and the w**e is the estate's own. A hundred euro a head, and you will have spent a whole evening in the venue before you ever ask anyone for a quote.

We plan weddings here. We would still tell you to come and eat first.

You can live in this valley for years and still only ever watch the harvest happen.

Vendemmia is a working season here. Tractors on the roads before seven, the cellars running late, the whole valley smelling faintly of w**e before anyone has opened a bottle. Unless someone’s family brings you in, you see it from the edge of the road.

On the nineteenth we open it. The tables go out at the cantina, dinner is the traditional one, the w**e is ours, and everybody ends up barefoot in a tub of grapes at some point in the evening.

The vines had just started to turn the week of this wedding, which is how you know the season in the Val di Chiana. Chairs on cut grass. The hills doing most of the decorating. An arch built that morning out of what was actually flowering.

By the time the candles were lit, the long table was the entire evening.
