🕍✡ A rare and unforgettable day in Palermo

The other day, with guests from Israel and the United States, we had the incredible opportunity to visit the Mikveh of Palermo — closed for almost 550 years, and only opening its doors two days a year.

Standing inside a space so few people ever get to see, steeped in centuries of ritual and daily life, was a moment none of us will forget.
This is exactly why I do this work:
not just telling history, but helping guests step inside it.

🌊 The Aeolian Islands Discovery boat trips have come to a season end! 🍷

Vulcano & Lipari, Salina & Stromboli ❤️

It’s a little hard to say, but the 2026 season is officially over, and what a beautiful way to close it!

A gorgeous late-summer day on Vulcano and Lipari with my guests: sunshine, sea air, and fantastic vibes. 🏝️✨

Your smiles, your energy, and your good spirits made this year truly memorable. This season wouldn’t have been nearly as amazing without you!

🇮🇹 Sicily’s Hidden Secrets - 2 days tour / East Coast

First we went up to Etna — and she tricked us. Rain, fog, and miserable weather the whole way up… until we broke through the clouds at 2,900m and found nothing but sun, sun, sun and blue sky. 🌤⛰️🥾

The next day we admired Etna from a distance 🙂 heading off to Taormina, where history and glam collide:
ancient theatre, jaw-dropping sea views, and streets made for wandering slow. 🏺🌅 Rounded it all out with an amazing boat trip out at sea, Etna glowing in the background — about as Sicilian as it gets. 🍋🐟

Two days, action-packed: nature, history, a hike, a boat ride, more granitas than we could count, and food that kept surprising us right to the end. 😄🍨

This whole trip has been made by the people in it — 4 incredible, well-traveled, ridiculously fun guests who brought all the right energy every single day. Thank you for choosing me to show you around the east side. 🙏❤

❤️ 3 days of Ortigia discovery — hidden treasures and secrets, through rain and sunshine, amazing food, granitas, coffees, and a fantastic group!

We even took a 2-hour boat trip to see the whole island from the water — a totally different perspective after days of exploring it from underground and on foot.

⛪️ Monreale Cathedral — one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world, and I’ve been lucky enough to see her in every kind of glory.

This week, dressed for the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Other times, in wedding white. In Christmas gold. In the hush of Easter week, and the joy of Easter Sunday Mass. And once, in her final moments with someone loved — in tears and sadness.

I’ve seen her under sunshine, under grey wind, under clouds, even under snow.
And every single time, she touches me.

What moves me most isn’t just the mosaics or the gold, though they take your breath away.

It’s watching my clients’ faces when we walk in together — that same quiet shift in the eyes, every time, no matter who they are or what they believe.
Because this is about faith & a deep connection we all have.

🚶⁉️ 🕍 Hand in hand with history:
walking Palermo’s Jewish quarter

Yesterday I had the joy of guiding wonderful guests from Jerusalem through Palermo’s Jewish heritage — and what a journey it was! 🇮🇱🇮🇹

We wandered the small lanes of the old Giudecca, stood in front of the building where, in its private courtyards, the ancient miqveh from the 10th century still survives, and paused at Anna’s tombstone in Palazzo Zisa — a 12th-century marble slab inscribed in four languages, including Hebrew script, a beautiful trace of the multicultural world Jews once shared here.

Sharing this history with guests who carry Jerusalem in their hearts made it even more meaningful.

History isn’t just remembered — it’s walked, together. 🚶‍♀️✨
