My husband and I stayed here for two nights a couple of weeks ago. It is the best place EVER to stay in Santa Clara. We honestly do not believe there is a nicer place to stay! Firstly, Gloria and her husband Gabriel are just wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt totally at home. Gabriel is a cook and made us the most superb reasonably priced dinner. The breakfast is wonderful, with beautifully presented fruits and home made jams. The room was lovely and spacious and cool, and the sitting area was a quiet oasis. The highlight of our stay was the owner, Gloria arranging a car and taking us round a tour of all the important sights in Santa Clara. Gloria’s knowledge of the history was outstanding ( and yes Gloria—I read the book we bought with you that day-—I was in tears by the end!) I can assure anyone reading this review that you would find it hard to find a nicer place to stay. I just hope sometime my kids visit it!
