Lüm. Luce, in ladino.
È questo il tema della 38ª edizione della Maratona dles Dolomites.
Tre lettere soltanto, ma capaci di contenere molto più di quanto si veda.

In un tempo che sembra restringersi, tra notti troppo lunghe e notizie che appesantiscono, la Maratona ci invita a cercare, anzi a essere luce.

Luce nei pensieri, nei gesti, nella fatica condivisa lungo i tornanti delle Dolomiti.

E se la luce che vediamo ora è partita otto minuti fa dal sole, allora ogni emozione vissuta in sella è già parte di una costellazione invisibile. Una scia luminosa che, un giorno, potrebbe illuminare qualcun altro.

Perché la Maratona è anche questo: un gesto di luce che si propaga, un’eco di bene che non si spegne.

This is the theme of the 38th edition of the Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel. Just three letters, yet they hold far more than meets the eye.

In a time that seems to be shrinking, with nights that feel too long and news that weighs heavy, the Maratona invites us not only to seek light, but to be it.

Light in our thoughts, in our actions, in the shared effort along the winding roads of the Dolomites.

And if the light we see now left the sun eight minutes ago, then every emotion we feel in the saddle is already part of an invisible constellation. A luminous trail that, one day, might light the way for someone else.

Because the Maratona is also this: a gesture of light that spreads, an echo of good that does not fade.

The Maratona dles Dolomites is ready to begin. 😍

On July 6th, we’ll meet again in the mountains, embraced by Lüm, the light of the Dolomites that turns every effort into energy, every emotion into a lasting memory.

Eight thousand cyclists from 81 nations will ride among these majestic rock giants, on routes that have become true cycling legends: the Maratona course with its 138 km and 4,230 m of elevation gain, the middle course with 106 km, and the Sellaronda course with 55.

Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella, Gardena, Giau, Falzarego, and Valparola: climbs that tell the epic story of cycling, surrounded by the silence and beauty of a one-of-a-kind landscape.

But the Maratona is more than just a race. It’s hospitality, passion, and teamwork. It’s made possible by 1,550 volunteers: with hands that prepare, smiles that encourage, and voices that guide. Without them, none of this would be possible.

La settimana del ciclista 🚲
Nei giorni che precedono la Maratona dles Dolomites, l’Alta Badia si anima con una serie di eventi collaterali dedicati agli appassionati delle due ruote. Il programma prevede i grandi classici, come i tour guidati tra le Dolomiti con le guide locali. Tra gli ospiti speciali di quest’anno ci sarà anche Jan Ullrich , leggenda delle corse a tappe, vincitore del Tour de France, oro olimpico a Sydney 2000 e tre volte campione del mondo su strada.
Da non perdere: la première del documentario “Supermaratona” con la presenza in sala di Hervé Bermasse, e la suggestiva pedalata notturna fino al passo Gardena guidati dalle stelle.

The cyclist's week 🚲
In the days leading up to the dles Dolomites , Alta Badia comes alive with a series of events dedicated to cycling enthusiasts. The programme includes the great classics, such as guided tours of the Dolomites led by local experts. Special guests this year will include Jan Ullrich , a legendary stage racer, winner of the Tour de France, and Olympic gold medallist in Sydney in 2000, as well as three-time world road champion.
Highlights not to be missed include the premiere of the documentary Supermarathon, featuring Hervé Bermasse, and the evocative night-time pedal ride up to the Gardena Pass, guided by the stars.

Dolomites Bike Day Un giorno senza tempo, dove a parlare sono stati solo il fiato corto, il battito del cuore e il silenzio delle Dolomiti.

Niente motori, nessuna fretta. Solo migliaia di ciclisti, una strada tutta per loro, e la libertà che scorre tra i tornanti.
