Stupore è una imponente scultura che è stata presentata al pubblico internazionale nel Novembre 2025, si tratta di un'opera ideata da Paolo del Bianco con la collaborazione di 12 artisti di Pietrasanta (terra in cui hanno lavorato artisti quali Mitoraj, Cascella, Pomodoro, Yasuda, e molti altri grandi stimati nomi del panorama internazionale), e realizzata in bronzo (pesa circa 300 kg).

Oggi Stupore si trova a palazzo Coppini (in via del Giglio 10, Firenze), dove è visibile su appuntamento, e il suo valore fortemente simbolico si concretizza in un appello di Pace che la Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco presenterà a breve presso l'Unesco, e al quale anche i lettori di Toscana Nuova (che da molto tempo affianca attivamente la Fondazione) possono partecipare. Nel Novembre 2025 la Fondazione Romualdo del Bianco ha presentato al pubblico l'opera "Stupore", ideata dal Presidente Emerito Paolo del Bianco, con la collaborazione di dodici artigiani di Pietrasanta. In questa stessa occasione è stato diffuso l'appello "Il patrimonio costruttore di Pace" (Heritage for Building Peace H4BP-2025), appello che verrà presentato prossimamente presso l'Unesco e che la Fondazione invita a firmare attraverso l'apposito form online (al link https://www.lifebeyondtourism.org/endorse-heritage-for-building-peace-2025-appeal/).
In un momento come quello presente manifestare la propria volontà di Pace può trovare una concreta realizzazione con l'adesione attraverso una atto semplice come lasciare la propria firma.
L'opera è adesso visitabile su appuntamento a Palazzo Coppini (via del Giglio 10, Firenze), mentre l'appello è sempre reperibile sul sito www.lifebeyondtourism.org

Eighty years after the end of the Second World War, the Heritage for Building Peace 2025 Appeal is now open to the international community.

Recognized by UNESCO and included in the MONDIACULT Digital Library, this Appeal carries an international voice.

It invites institutions, organizations, enterprises, local communities, and travelers to promote workshops for the Culture of Encounter, Dialogue, and Reciprocity in World Heritage Sites.

Heritage is called to become an active platform for dialogue and cooperation, contributing to peace at both local and global levels.

“Heritage for Building Peace 2025” Appeal

The Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation – Life Beyond Tourism® launches the “Heritage for Building Peace 2025” Appeal, which will be officially presented on November 26 in Florence.

The Appeal invites reflection on the importance of fostering a culture of dialogue among cultures, encouraging activities and initiatives that, within multicultural contexts, facilitate encounter, mutual understanding, and the creation of authentic human relationships — one of the most effective paths toward building Peace.

A Journey into the Heart of Japanese Craftsmanship: The Beauty of Kyoto on Display at the Auditorium al Duomo in Florence for the 60th Anniversary of the Florence-Kyoto Twinning.

We were proud to collaborate on a culturally significant event: “DISCOVER KYOTO – Exhibition of Kyoto Craftsmanship”, held at the Auditorium al Duomo.

Part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the twinning between the City of Kyoto and Florence, this exhibition was far more than a showcase—it was a rare and precious opportunity to welcome Kyoto’s master artisans directly from Japan. Their presence allowed us to experience not only the refined techniques and centuries-old traditions of Kyoto’s “flourishing traditional industries,” but also the culture, philosophy, and soul behind each creation.

Having these artisans here meant opening a direct channel of knowledge and appreciation. Through their hands, live demonstrations, and personal stories, we gained a deeper understanding of the value of heritage, dedication, and the intangible beauty within craft. It was an experience that deeply enriched intercultural dialogue, further strengthening the bond between our two cities.

A heartfelt thank to the City of Kyoto, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, and the 60th Anniversary Celebration Committee for making this extraordinary journey possible. The Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation was proud to promote an initiative of such cultural significance.

🎌 With great emotion and pride, last Friday we welcomed the Mayor of Kyoto, Matsui Koji, to Palazzo Coppini, the headquarters of the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Florence–Kyoto sister city partnership.
This visit marked a historic and symbolic moment, further strengthening the deep cultural ties between Florence and Kyoto and their communities, united by a shared vision based on intercultural dialogue and respect for heritage.
🤝 The delegation was received by President Emeritus Paolo Del Bianco and President Carlotta DEL Bianco, who guided the guests through Palazzo Coppini, Museum of Expressions of Gratitude, dedicated to promoting intangible heritage and international cultural relations.
📜 A particularly moving moment was the encounter with Japanese artisans. In his welcome speech, the President Emeritus, while celebrating the 60 years of friendship between the two cities, highlighted the vital role of their civic communities in building lasting bonds between our two cultures — with a special mention of the thirty-year collaboration between the Foundation and the Tsuji family and their company Kyokane.
🍷 The day concluded with a convivial toast and a taste of Italian cuisine, symbolizing a genuine exchange of flavors, traditions, and friendship.
🙏 A heartfelt thank-you to our tireless Ambassador in Japan, Hoshino Tsuji, a precious guide throughout this long journey of collaboration.
🌍 For us at the Foundation, it was a reaffirmation that building bridges between cultures is not only possible — it is essential.

🌍 Quando il patrimonio unisce, il futuro si costruisce insieme.
Venerdì 16 maggio, a Palazzo Coppini, è stato firmato un accordo strategico tra ICCROM e la Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco – Life Beyond Tourism, per promuovere e proteggere il patrimonio culturale nel mondo.

📜 Un Memorandum che parla di cooperazione, formazione, comunità e visione condivisa.
Da Firenze all’Africa, dal Medio Oriente all’Asia: si rafforza una rete globale che fa del patrimonio un motore di educazione, dialogo e sviluppo sostenibile.

🎓 Programmi comuni, eventi internazionali come The World in Florence, corsi specialistici e attività sul campo: questo accordo è un passo concreto verso una cultura che non si limita a essere custodita, ma vive, cresce e connette le persone.
