☕️🇮🇹 Coffee in Italy is more than a drink — it’s a ritual.
In Florence you quickly notice one of the beautiful things about Italian coffee culture: there’s a difference between having a coffee and sitting down for coffee.

Standing at the bar is quick, casual and very Italian — order your espresso, take a few sips, have a little conversation, and you’re on your way.

But sitting down? That’s different. It’s about slowing down, enjoying the atmosphere, watching the world go by and giving yourself time to savour the moment.

And sometimes, that extra time comes with a different price.

☕️ Standing = coffee.
🪑 Sitting = an experience.

Maybe that’s one of the secrets of Italian coffee culture: knowing when to rush and when to stay.

Stepping back to 1872…

Every time I come to Rivoire, I can’t help but slow down and take it all in. The chandeliers, the paintings, the old-world charm — there’s something about this place that makes you pause and simply enjoy the moment.

Florence’s Leather School — a truly special place where centuries of craftsmanship and tradition come together.

The Scuola del Cuoio was founded in 1950 in the former Franciscan convent of Santa Croce, where generations of artisans have kept the art of Florentine leatherworking alive. The historic setting is beautiful, with Renaissance frescoes and a wonderful sense of history.

Many famous people have visited over the years, including Princess Diana, and you can still have your leather purchase personalized with your initials — making it something truly unique.

So many of you have asked me where I buy my leather in Florence… this is one of my favorite places!

Via San Giuseppe 5R, Florence, Italy
🕙 April–October: Daily, 10:00–18:30

One of my favorite things about Florence? The soundtrack. 🎻✨

Around almost every corner, you’ll find musicians filling the streets with everything from classical violin to jazz and Italian ballads. It makes wandering between cafés, wine bars, and gelato stops feel even more magical.

For foodies, Florence isn’t just about incredible pasta and perfect espresso—it’s about soaking up the atmosphere with every bite. Good food, beautiful streets, and live music everywhere… that’s la dolce vita. 🇮🇹🎶
