Every place has those little signs that immediately tell you where you are.
In America, you have yellow school buses and neon diner signs. 🇺🇸
In Chianti, we have cypress trees and the Black Rooster. 🇮🇹🍷
You see them and you just know exactly where you are.
And if you see all four at the same time... you’ve taken a VERY wrong turn. 😂
No GPS can help you now.

Red w**e haters... what about now? 👀🥂
Here in Tuscany, making white w**e from red grapes happens more often than you might think.
The secret? Much of the color is in the grape skins. 🍇
So next time you confidently announce, “I don’t like red w**e”... remember me. 😉
You might be drinking red grapes without even knowing it. 😂🥂
Which is exactly why we have to keep tasting.
For research purposes, obviously. 🍷😉

It’s tradition: no one starts eating before someone says “Buon appetito!” 🇮🇹
Everyone is seated. The food is on the table. You’re hungry. You’re ready.But wait.
Someone still has to say the magic words. 😂
And somehow, everything tastes a little better after that. Although, to be fair, Tuscan food already has an unfair advantage. 🍝🍷😉

Yes, the hills actually look like this. Yes, the vineyards are real. And yes, the w**e tastes even better when you’re standing right there.

But behind every great bottle there’s a lot of work that’s decidedly less glamorous than drinking it.

There are many ways to experience Tuscany.
Some involve crowds, rushed tastings and w**e you could have bought back home. We prefer the other way. 😉
Small groups, family-run w**eries, the people behind the bottles and enough time to actually enjoy where you are.
Some choices are easier than others. 🍷
