Everyone thinks my job as a w**e tour guide is just drinking w**e. 🍷
I’d like to formally confirm that there is also a lot of planning involved.
Unfortunately, the w**e part is still necessary. 😉

It's a very serious responsibility, but we're willing to make the sacrifice. 😂

I know, they make great w**ery décor. 🪵🍷
Turns out, barrels are useful for a few other things too... 😉
The type of wood, the size of the barrel, even how old it is can all play a part in what eventually ends up in your glass. So, why do w**emakers age w**e in wood? And no, “because it looks good in the cellar” is not the correct answer. 😂
Take a look through the photos and find out. 🍷
And next time you're in Chianti, take a closer look at those barrels. You might see them a little differently. 😉

The calm before the Chianti. Everyone is still behaving.
Then lunch starts: a little food, a little w**e, a few stories around the table, and suddenly everyone is talking with their hands. 🤌
Just another perfectly normal lunch in Tuscany. 🇮🇹✨

🖋️Angela Sunday Observation

Every now and then, when we arrive at one of these beautiful centuries-old w**eries in Tuscany, I like to turn to my guests and say:
"Welcome to Casa Angela!" 🏡🍷
For a few seconds, some of them actually believe me.
And honestly? I don't rush to correct them. 😂
Eventually, though, I have to admit that no, this beautiful w**ery surrounded by vineyards is not actually my house.
Trust me... I'm more disappointed than you are.
But at least they still let me visit. ✨

Some people see concrete tanks.
I see plenty of reasons to spend the afternoon at this w**ery doing some very necessary quality control with these two. 🍷😉
After all, someone has to make sure everything is going according to plan. I take my responsibilities very seriously.
Apparently, so do they. 🍷😂

Steel tanks, wooden barrels, amphorae... the vessel a w**emaker chooses is part of the story behind what's eventually poured into your glass.
Take a look through the carousel and tell me: have you ever seen any of these during a w**ery visit?

Or so people think. 😂
Then September arrives...right, everyone to Chianti for harvest. 🍇
Bring comfortable shoes. Apparently, those grapes aren't going to pick themselves.
W**e tour afterwards. We've clearly earned it. 🍷😉
