I’m not ashamed to say it: I had a truly Grape Day yesterday. 🍇❤️
Twenty years ago, I met this wonderful couple for the first time. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of welcoming them back to Tuscany—this time with their children and grandchild.
Seeing familiar faces return after so many years, and watching a new generation discover the places and wines that make Tuscany so special, is one of my greatest joys.
We spent the day exploring beautiful Bolgheri, tasting outstanding wines at Castello di Bolgheri and Grattamacco, and enjoying a fantastic lunch at Osteria San Guido.
Days like this remind me how lucky I am.

Wine is wonderful, Tuscany is beautiful, but it’s the people I meet along the way who make this work so meaningful.

Carmignano isn’t just one of Tuscany’s hidden wine gems — it also has deep ties to the Medici family. Back in 1716, Grand Duke Cosimo III de’ Medici included Carmignano in the famous “Bando Mediceo,” one of the world’s first official wine regulations, recognizing the area for its exceptional wine quality. The Medici family loved the wines from these hills so much that they even planted French grapes here centuries ago…which is why Carmignano wines still have a unique blend of Sangiovese with Cabernet today.

Cheese and stories, bittersweet

Feeling like I belong somewhere

And maybe healing looks like this
A simple vineyard kiss
No rush, no fear, no race to run
Just wine and friends beneath the sun

On our Chianti & Cheese tour, you’ll visit family-owned wineries, stop at an award-winning dairy famous for a very special cheese called “Toad Skin” (!), and enjoy an unforgettable farm-to-table lunch in the Tuscan countryside.

A rainy day in Tuscany? No problem 🍷☔

Last week was rainy but a little rain doesn’t stop the magic of a Tuscan wine tour. We still wandered into the vineyards, learned directly from passionate vintners, tasted fantastic wines, and enjoyed plenty of delicious Tuscan food along the way.

Sometimes the misty hills and dramatic skies make the experience feel even more special 🍇
