Okay friends, a quick update: we're down to just 2 spots on the Guatemala UNtour! 🇬🇹

If you've been sitting on this one, here's what you'd be saying yes to: nine days (January 30 – February 7, 2027) starting in colorful, colonial Antigua and finishing on the shores of Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.

We'll tour a coffee farm, take a cooking class, learn from an ancient Mayan textile class, hike up to Cerro de la Cruz for the views, and explore the lakeside villages of San Marcos and San Juan. And yes, there's a full free day at the lake to do absolutely nothing if that's what your soul needs.

Like every UNtour, you get your own room the whole trip, all breakfasts and dinners are taken care of, and you'll have a 24/7 private local guide plus me as your host. There's even a private photoshoot so you finally come home with great pictures of YOU.

I need to explain this video. 😂

I'm in Florence right now, and my aunt is at my house. She was on my very first UNtour, trusting her niece with a brand-new idea and a plane ticket to Italy. Apparently she still believes in it, because she decided to film her own promo for Jaxs On The Go while I'm gone. Nobody asked her to…and technically, she broke in!🤣

I joke that I get close to my guests, but I promise you don't have to be related to me to join. Most of my travelers show up solo, knowing no one, and leave with real friends.

I know how "someday" goes. Someday when work calms down. Someday when I find someone to go with. Someday when the timing's right. And then someday just… keeps being someday.

So here's a little nudge. From January 30 – February 7, 2027, eight women are heading to Guatemala together. We'll wander the colorful streets of Antigua, tour a coffee farm, take a cooking class and an ancient Mayan textile class, hike up to Cerro de la Cruz for that view, then spend four nights on stunning Lake Atitlan, visiting lakeside villages and the butterfly garden, with a full free day to do absolutely nothing if you want.

Every woman gets her own room. Breakfasts and dinners are included. A local guide is with us the whole way, and I'll be right there hosting. There's even a private photoshoot, because you deserve photos where you're actually in them.

Can I let you in on something? 👀

I've got new UNtours in the works, and I'm not announcing them here. They're going to my waitlist first.

Here's why. Every UNtour is capped at 8 women, so there aren't many spots to go around. It feels right to give first dibs to the women who raised their hands early and said "I'm interested, tell me more."

If you're new here: an UNtour is a small-group trip for women who want to travel solo without doing everything alone. You get your own room (always), one excursion a day, breakfasts and dinners together, and real free time to wander, nap, shop, or sit with a cappuccino and watch the world go by. I host every trip myself, and we work with licensed local guides who know their cities inside and out.

Joining the waitlist doesn't commit you to anything. You'll just hear about new destinations and dates before anyone else, and you can decide from there.

The Guatemala UNtour (January 30 – February 7, 2027) is almost full, and I'm getting giddy just thinking about it.

Here's what we're doing: four nights in a gorgeous boutique hotel in Antigua, cobblestone streets and volcano views included. Then four nights on Lake Atitlan, which might be the most beautiful place you've never heard of.

In between? A coffee farm tour, a cooking class, an ancient Mayan textile class, the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint, lakeside villages, a butterfly garden, a private photoshoot, and a full day at the lake to do absolutely nothing if that's what your heart wants.

Quick question for you: how many years have you been saying "someday"?
Someday I'll go to Italy. Someday when the kids are grown. Someday when I retire. Someday when I find someone to go with.
I hear it all the time, and I get it. Life is full, and there's always a reason to wait. But here's the thing about someday: it never actually shows up on the calendar.
That's why I'm a big believer in the Me-Moon. It's a trip that's an investment in you, and only you. No compromising on the destination, no planning around everyone else's schedule. Just you, finally saying yes to yourself.

Can we talk about the two most frustrating phrases in group travel?
"Single supplement." And "we'll pair you with a roommate."

You find a trip you love, the itinerary looks amazing, the dates work... and then one of those phrases shows up and suddenly you're closing the tab. Again.

I've been there more times than I can count. I couldn't find a trip that gave me my own room as the standard, kept the group small, and didn't run me ragged from sunrise to bedtime. So I stopped looking and built it myself.
