Florence is one of my favorite cities in Italy, but here’s a tip most visitors don’t hear:

Don’t spend all of your time in the city center.

The Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and the major attractions are absolutely worth seeing, but Florence can get incredibly crowded, especially during peak travel season.

Some of my favorite moments happened when I wandered beyond the busiest streets and explored quieter neighborhoods, hidden piazzas, local cafés, and tucked-away wine bars.

And if you’re visiting, keep an eye out for Florence’s famous wine windows. Dating back to the Renaissance, these small openings allowed wine producers to sell directly to customers centuries ago—and several are still serving wine today. 🍷

Florence rewards curiosity. The more you wander, the more you’ll discover.

Here’s what’s landing with clients right now… consider this your sign. ✈️

These are the destinations I’m recommending most this summer, and honestly, it’s easy to see why.

🇮🇹 Tuscany for the food, wine, scenery, and unforgettable experiences.

🏝️ St. Lucia for luxury resorts, stunning views, and the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

🚢 Mediterranean cruises for travelers who want to experience multiple destinations without constantly packing and unpacking.

🏖️ Grand Cayman for beautiful beachfront villas, crystal-clear water, and an easy, luxurious island escape.

The best part? Every one of these destinations can be tailored to fit your travel style.

If Tuscany is on your bucket list, don’t skip Siena.

From winding cobblestone streets and stunning architecture to the iconic Piazza del Campo, this city captures everything I love about Italy. It feels authentic, timeless, and somehow manages to surprise you around every corner.

Whether you’re spending a few hours here or making it part of a longer Tuscan adventure, Siena is a place that stays with you long after you’ve left.

Have you visited Siena, or is it still on your travel wish list? 🇮🇹✨

Our last day in Tuscany began with a scenic hike up to San Gimignano. The climb was definitely a workout, but the breathtaking views made every step worth it. 🇮🇹

Of all the places we visited on this trip, San Gimignano was my favorite. With its medieval towers, charming streets, quaint shops, and incredible history, it felt like stepping back in time.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on a terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside before heading to the family-owned Cesani estate for a wine tasting. There, we sampled three exceptional wines paired with bruschetta, extra-virgin olive oil, and a delicious selection of Tuscan cheeses and charcuterie. 🍷

The evening ended with a farewell dinner at our hotel, where we shared stories, laughs, and memories from an incredible week together. Saying goodbye to this amazing group was bittersweet, but I feel so fortunate to have shared this experience with such wonderful people.

Tuscany exceeded every expectation, and this journey is one I won’t soon forget. ❤️🇮🇹

One of my favorite discoveries in Florence wasn’t a famous museum or cathedral—it was a tiny wine window tucked into the side of a historic building. 🍷

Known as buchette del vino, these small openings were originally used by wealthy Florentine families to sell wine directly to locals centuries ago.

Today, a handful have been brought back to life, serving wine, coffee, and gelato through the same little windows that have been part of Florence’s story for hundreds of years.

It’s these unexpected details that make Italy so magical. ✨

Would you stop for a glass of wine from a Renaissance-era wine window?
