We have found a winner here.
Brilliant wines, massive personality like Gianluca. With 9 hectares he is making under 20,000 bottles and has room the grow, but the joy is coming from the fact the vines are coming from 25 to 60 year old vines on clay and calcareous soil. He follows low intervention and natural vineyard management. The croatina we tried had super acidity (5,6g/l) with 30 months in cement, fresh and sumptuous. The Pinot Grigio was balanced with aromas and unexpected depth and the Macerated blend is a tremendous effort in complexity and drinkability.
Some refermented wines are also made in the ancestral method under his WAI labels using pinot nero. There are Riesling ,Cortese, Moscato and Barbera planted too.
