Quest’estate abbiamo scelto di puntare anche sui più giovani e oggi, a stagione conclusa, possiamo dire che ne è valsa davvero la pena!
Alex e Giovanni, i nostri animatori, hanno 17 anni e Giorgia, marinaia di bordo, appena 16.
Ve lo raccontiamo perché troppo spesso sentiamo parlare dei ragazzi di oggi come poco volenterosi, difficili o poco responsabili. Noi abbiamo visto altro.
Li abbiamo visti lavorare tutta l’estate, sotto il sole e nelle giornate più calde, con entusiasmo, puntualità, rispetto e tanta voglia di fare. Vi hanno fatto ridere, giocare… e diventare pirati insieme a loro! Ce lo avete raccontato voi stessi nei tanti messaggi e nelle bellissime recensioni che ci avete lasciato.
Accanto a loro c’erano il comandante Alessandro, veterano della squadra e presenza storica a bordo, il comandante Stefano e la nostra dolce Alessandra. Con esperienza, pazienza e qualche consiglio prezioso, hanno saputo accompagnare i più giovani, trasmettendo loro non solo il mestiere, ma anche quello spirito che da sempre cerchiamo di portare a bordo.
E poi Irene, 19 anni e Amos, 22, che sono stati il perfetto punto di incontro tra le diverse generazioni, contribuendo a trasformare questa squadra in qualcosa che, alla fine della stagione, assomiglia molto a una famiglia.
Età diverse, caratteri diversi, esperienze diverse. Alla fine, una sola ciurma. ❤️
Forse qualche volta qualcuno di loro non sarà stato perfetto. Ma guardandoli in questa foto, senza i panni da pirati, vogliamo ricordare una cosa semplice: dietro ogni costume ci sono delle persone. Ragazzi che hanno lavorato per un’intera estate e che, come tutti, possono avere avuto un momento di stanchezza o una giornata meno brillante.
Questo non toglie nulla al fatto che chi partecipa alle nostre escursioni abbia diritto alla migliore esperienza possibile, ma crediamo sia bello riconoscere anche l’impegno e la crescita di chi lavora dietro le quinte.
Grazie a tutti voi che siete saliti a bordo, agli amici e alle aziende che continuano a sostenerci e alle nuove realtà del litorale con cui quest’anno sono nate bellissime collaborazioni.
Ma oggi il grazie più grande va a loro.

This summer, we decided to put our trust in some of the youngest members of our crew too. And now, with the season behind us, we can truly say it was worth it!
Alex and Giovanni, our entertainers, are 17, and Giorgia, one of our crew members on board, is just 16.
We’re telling you this because far too often we hear young people today described as unmotivated, difficult or irresponsible. We saw something different.
We watched them work all summer long, under the sun and through the hottest days, with enthusiasm, punctuality, respect and a real willingness to give their best. They made you laugh, play… and become pirates right along with them! And you told us so yourselves, through the many messages and wonderful reviews you left us.
Alongside them were Captain Alessandro, the veteran of the team and a familiar presence on board for many years, Captain Stefano and our lovely Alessandra. With experience, patience and plenty of valuable advice, they guided the younger members of the crew, passing on not only the skills of the job, but also the spirit we have always tried to bring on board.
And then Irene, 19, and Amos, 22, who became the perfect bridge between the different generations, helping to turn this team into something that, by the end of the season, feels very much like a family.
Different ages, different personalities, different experiences. In the end, one crew. ❤️
Maybe they haven’t always been perfect. But looking at them in this photo, without their pirate costumes, we want to remember something simple: behind every costume there is a real person. Very young people who have worked an entire summer and who, like all of us, may have had a tired moment or a day when they weren’t quite at their best.
This doesn’t change the fact that everyone who joins one of our cruises deserves the best possible experience. But we also believe it’s important to recognise the commitment and growth of the people working behind the scenes.
Thank you to all of you who came aboard, to the friends and companies who continue to support us, and to the new businesses along the coast with whom we have built some wonderful new partnerships this year.
But today, our biggest thank you goes to them.
