Isola Spargi is the third largest island of the Maddalena archipelago and it is one of the most rugged and wild islands from the , and probably that's why uninhabited. The is mostly steep and it opens to the south and southwest to , spectacular beach with fine sand also known as and .
For the history/archeology lovers would be interesting to know that is also famous for the wreck of a Roman cargo from the second century B.C., found at 18m depth near in 1939 by a diver. The 35m long ship, was excavated by Nino Lamboglia in the late '50s .

The Spiaggia Rosa ( ), in the south oriental part of the Isola Di Budelli is trully an enchanting place, which fairytale-like pink sand owes its colour to micro organic fragments of corals and shells such as Miriapora Truncata and Miniacina Miniacea. An eternal myth and symbol of the Parco Nazionale dell'Arcipelago di La Maddalena , the pink beach has always been celebrated for its extraordinary colour and was immortalized by film director Michelangelo Antonioni, who in 1964 sets here a famous scene for his film “Red Desert”.
The gorgeous is under maximum environmental protection, so a great way to admire it's beauty is from the . Seen from the the view is still breathtaking.

Famous for being the final home of Giuseppe Garibaldi, is the second largest in the La Maddalena archipelago and it is a natural reserve due to the particular species of seabirds living on it. The magnificent island is inhabited by herds of wild goats (capra) that gave Caprera its name.
