The Mont Blanc View apartments are located in the centre of La Salle, a beautiful Alpine village in the Aosta valley, Northwest Italy near the borders of France and Switzerland. They are managed by an English and Italian couple with extensive local knowledge to ensure you make the most of your holiday and are available 24/7 should you require any assistance during your stay. The Apartments – Two f

irst floor, Self-catering apartments, each sleeps up to 4 (with a squeeze). Double bedroom with additional Sofa bed in the Living room / Kitchen area. (The apartments share the same entrance corridor so can be joined to make one large apartment)
Rooms – 1 bedroom, Combined living room kitchen, 1 bathroom. General – Linen, Towels provided. Utilities – Fridge, Gas hob, small oven/microwave, washing machine, hairdryer. Outdoors – Balcony with exceptional views of Mont Blanc and La Grivola. Shared Garden with BBQ and seating. Parking - 100 m from apartment. Access for loading and unloading. Location - The apartments are situated in the centre of La Salle, 50 metres from shops, restaurants, pharmacy and a bar. 5 minutes walk from bus stop with direct buses to Courmayeur. 10 drive minutes away from Pre St Didier Thermal Spa. The Local Area - La Salle is situated on a gentle, sun bathed slope between vineyards, orchards and mountain pastures at an altitude of 1000 metres and is overlooked by the stunning Mont Blanc. The location is ideal for those wishing to go downhill and cross-country skiing, ski-touring and snowshoe-walking in the winter. Nearby Ski resorts include:
Courmayeur (http://www.courmayeur-montblanc.com and www.montebianco.com) 15 min drive
La Thuile (www.espacesanbernardo.com) linked with La Rossiere 20 min drive
Pila (www.pila.it/en) 30 min drive
Mountain biking, golf, white water rafting, and many other outdoor activities can be enjoyed from spring until autumn. For walkers, there is a vast network of paths. Choose a gentle stroll in the valley or take a more demanding high level route, staying in refuges to discover the magnificent mountain surroundings. Explore historic castles and villages and hidden valleys by car or bus. In the summer months visit some local events – wine festivals, village festivals, and even cow fights! The historic City of Aosta ( 30 min drive) is also well worth a visit . Arriving and departing
The nearest airports are located in Turin, Milan, and Geneva, Switzerland/France. La Salle can be reached easily by car from Italy via the A5 autostrada (www.autostrade.it), or from France via the Mont Blanc Tunnel (http://www.tunnelmb.net). There are frequent bus connections to and from Aosta, Milan, Turin, and Chamonix (www.savda.it). There also is a rail link -- the train station is in the nearby village of Pre St. Didier (http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html)
