Enjoy Cycling Sicily

Got a call yesterday from Erwin: Hello, we are on vacation with our families and we would like to rent two bikes for tomorrow.
And so, Erwin and Toon showed up this morning, suffering from cycling withdrawal (guess where they’re from? Antwerp, the most important city in Flanders, one of the regions we cyclists love the most), and riding our new Basso Astra bikes, they discovered the beauties of Alcantara Valley and the Etna vineyards area.

On Thursday we met Anna and Toni, a lovely Spanish couple who chose Sicily and the Taormina area for a biking weekend: Etna and the Godfather's loop for our friends, who judging by their smiles had a great time. Thanks for the photos!

This is exactly what our Austrian friends from the "Schweigginger RadsHerren“ team 😉did. Despite a week troubled by bad weather, they didn’t miss a single day of cycling and heroically rode through the Etna Valley, Taormina, the Alcantara Valley, and the Agrò Valley. It was a pleasure to meet you! 🚵🏻🚵🏻🚵🏻🍻

Guess who's back? Our dear friends Anna and Lukasz, a lovely couple with a deep affection for Sicily (and the feeling is mutual!) who have visited us four times in the past three years. Every year, Lukasz celebrates his birthday cycling between the volcano Etna, the Godfather's loop, and enjoying his favorite climb — the Portella Mandrazzi pass. We love you guys!

We always try to make our customers feel at home... maybe this time we went a little overboard! 😅 On a day when no rain was expected, something went wrong with the forecast… and it was the rain itself that welcomed our Scottish friends Rosie and Andy. They told us they’re used to it, and as you can see from the photos, they had fun anyway. However, we wish them a week of sun and warmth, just as this island often offers.
