This villa is furnished throughout with antiques and has a large pool and a superb all weather tennis court in possibly the most beautiful situation in the whole of Tuscany. La Pianella Farmhouse has been the subject of a total renovation and is ideal for all year round lets with its modern heat retaining features and under floor heating throughout. It has a more modern feel to it whilst still retaining that essential 'Tuscan Rustic' feel. It has a large, 12mx6m swimming pool

The top floor 'Tower Room' has panoramic full height windows on two sides that can open completely, giving uninterupted and spectacular views down the valley. This is wonderful place to sit and contemplate. The properties can be let separately or jointly to large parties. Whichever property you are staying in, you will be perfectly situated to see the best of Tuscany with Florence, Siena and San Gimignano all within easy reach for day trips. Right on your terracotta doorstep is the beautiful walled city of Lucca. The ancient city of Lucca is not only beautiful, but is also just twenty minutes drive from the villa. Lucca regularly hosts concerts of music by Puccini, the city's favourite son. There are also operas at Torre del Lago during the season. The famous beach resorts of Versilia, Viareggio, Torre del Lago and Forte dei Marmi are all within 30 to 40 minutes.
