Nearly one year ago, we said goodbye to our last guests of the season and began transforming the still-empty part of Via Rinaldi.
And what a year it has been! We restored the old wooden windows, built new shutters, and integrated modern techniques into the historic building. We worked long days and late nights, shedding blood, sweat and tears. But by the end of June, we had completed six beautiful new rooms, ready to welcome our guests.
After this first intense period of building and renovating, we immediately moved into another intense chapter: welcoming fresh faces, preparing breakfasts, cleaning rooms… With guests still arriving today, we couldn’t feel more proud, gratefull and happy! What a journey it’s been!
A huge thank you to our building team, our kind neighbours and friends, and to everyone who supported us from Belgium. And a very special thanks to Julie’s [email protected] and , who came all the way from Bruges to give us a hand!
Ecco alcuni “prima e dopo”!
Quasi un anno fa abbiamo salutato gli ultimi ospiti della stagione e abbiamo iniziato a trasformare la parte ancora vuota di Via Rinaldi.
Ed è stato davvero un anno straordinario! Abbiamo restaurato le vecchie finestre di legno, costruito nuove persiane e integrato tecniche moderne nell’edificio storico. Abbiamo lavorato giorni lunghi e notti ancora più lunghe, con tanto impegno e fatica. Ma alla fine di giugno avevamo completato sei splendide nuove camere, pronte ad accogliere i nostri ospiti.
Dopo questo primo periodo intenso di lavori e ristrutturazioni, siamo subito passati a un’altra fase altrettanto intensa: accogliere nuovi volti, preparare colazioni, pulire le camere… Con gli ospiti che continuano ad arrivare, non potremmo essere più orgogliosi e felici. Che viaggio incredibile è stato!
Un enorme grazie alla nostra squadra di lavoro, ai gentili vicini e amici, e a tutti coloro che ci hanno sostenuto dal Belgio. E un ringraziamento speciale alla mamma di Julie e a Siegert, che sono venuti fin da Bruges per darci una mano!
