Another destination among those we proudly offer across the ports of Sicily and Calabria during July and August welcomed the Wind Surf, which called at the port of Vibo Marina.

Following the success of Star Legend’s inaugural call in Reggio Calabria last year, during the first-ever Mystery Cruise, Windstar Cruises has once again chosen to focus on Calabria, adding Vibo Marina to its itinerary.

This new destination offers a wide range of exciting experiences, from excursions to Tropea, Pizzo Calabro and Capo Vaticano, to authentic food and wine experiences and tastings at some of the region’s local wineries.

The commitment continues into the 2027 season, when Windstar Cruises has chosen to further strengthen its presence in Calabria, doubling the number of calls at Calabrian ports.

We would like to thank all the local authorities and suppliers for the support and assistance provided to our team in successfully launching this new destination. We hope it will become a regular feature in the future itineraries of the international cruise market.

With the arrival of Queen Victoria in Messina, we concluded an exceptionally busy and rewarding month of May, during which we played a leading role across many of Sicily’s ports.

✅ 3 days with 4 simultaneous calls in different ports
✅ 930 bus and guide services coordinated
✅ 90 private guided experiences delivered for VIP guests
✅ More than 28,000 passengers welcomed with the professionalism and warm hospitality that define our team

We had the privilege of organizing outstanding shore excursions and tailor-made services for exclusive events requested by some of our most valued clients, creating memorable experiences throughout the island.

Together with our partner ADM Congressi, we also delivered important events in some of Sicily’s most breathtaking and iconic locations, showcasing the very best of our destination.

La galleria d’arte Galleria d’Arte Vega è lieta di invitarvi alla nuova mostra dedicata all’artista Laura Mircea.

La mostra, dal titolo “Tra derive e movimenti”, mette in risalto l’attenzione dell’artista verso tematiche ambientali oggi più che mai attuali.

🗓️ Sabato 30 maggio alle ore 18:30 vernissage della mostra.

🥂🎶 A seguire, dalle ore 19:00, aperitivo con l’artista accompagnato da musica dal vivo.
L’evento, a ingresso gratuito, sarà sponsorizzato dalla Tenuta Enza La Fauci con una degustazione di vini.

Il percorso espositivo con Laura Mircea culminerà il 30 luglio con una live painting performance presso la struttura ricettiva Filicudi Art & Stay, nostro partner ufficiale, nella suggestiva cornice dell’isola di Filicudi.

A few days ago in Giardini Naxos we welcomed the call of the OOsterdam, achieving a record number of tour participants for our operations in this port.

Despite the significant challenges caused by Cyclone Harry at the beginning of January, we successfully managed the call in the best possible way, demonstrating resilience and strong teamwork.

A sincere thank you goes to our suppliers, the local authorities of Giardini Naxos, and the Rangers for their valuable support during bus arrivals and departures. Most importantly, a special thanks to our incredible staff, who handled the day brilliantly—always with a smile and never losing determination, even during the most demanding moments.

We are now more motivated than ever to take on the rest of the season. Starting in May, the schedule is already very demanding, with 70 port calls planned across Sicily and Calabria.

Last week, the Port of Messina welcomed two protagonists of the sea: Sun Princess and Seven Seas Grandeur.

We witnessed a magnificent spectacle in the heart of the Strait and our port, with two seasons unfolding in the same day: relentless rain accompanying operations, followed by bright sunshine that illuminated the departures.
