⚠️ Traveling to Italy this summer? Be prepared for airport delays.

I recently flew into Milan Malpensa Airport and was shocked by the immigration line. It took about 1½ hours just to get through passport control after landing.

I’ve attached a video so you can see the line for yourself. 😳

With record numbers of visitors arriving in Italy this summer and new EU entry procedures being phased in, airport processing times may be longer than many travelers expect.

My advice:

✅ Pack your patience
✅ Don’t schedule anything important immediately after landing
✅ Allow extra time if you have onward train or flight connections
✅ Be prepared for long immigration lines during peak travel periods

After a long international flight, the last thing you want is another hour or more standing in line.
