The temporary exhibition by Anselm Kiefer in the 1943 bombed Sala delle Cariatidi. The room was not restored to testify recent history and displays a deep emotional setting. the paintings tell the stories of female alchemists. They are painted with lead, sulfur oxides, flower petals, ash and above all gold to remember the dream of alchemists to turn any cheap metal into gold

Day 4: The favourite locations for interion design exhibitions in 2026 are for sure old factory buildings or how we call them “archeology of architecture”
Let’s have a look at some of them, such as former Esperis perfume factory (actually disused for less than two years) in the Barona district or the buildings in the Tortona area, like the old Ansaldo factory

Day 3: welcome back! Today we will go behind the scenes and will enter inside private appartments and villas, a very special happening in Milan, the most “private” city of Italy!
We start with the 1930s Villa Pestarini by the architect Franco Albini exeptionally opened to the public for the design week 2026.
Than we will enter the appartment once inhabited by the joung Albert Einstein in the heart of Milan, in the historical Palazzo Olivazzi. The interiors display the 1940s work by the architect Osvaldo Borsani.

Day 2: today I will show you one of the most gossiped setting of the Milan design week 2026! A huge octopus connects the entrance of the iconic location 10, Corso Como with the interior courtyard and the exhibition rooms. The concept store and its bar restaurant ist one of the must sees in town.

Milan design week has started today! Let me take you around, I will show you the most spectacular sites during these days.. you will be part of our event and share our good vibes. Let’s start with one of my favourite location, the abandomed military hospital in the suburbs of the city, build durning Word War I. The pavillons of the hospital are spread in the park and create an extraordinary setting for the display of interior design. An extra chapter is the no more active church, a deep spiritual location for the art works.
