Palumbo Shipyards is strategically well located within the most convenient historical trade route, the Mediterranean sea which allows a short cut between the American continent and the Asian continent. The Group has gained considerable knowledge in various sectors ranging from cargo vessels to luxury yachts. Nowadays Palumbo’s network with its high skilled team and modern facilities is able to pro

vide services for any kind of repair work and accommodate a larger segment of vessels even for vessels in navigation. Facilities Description:

Naples Shipyard (headquarter)
The Yard covers an area of 21.780 sqare meters with two floating docks all equipped with dockside cranes up to 700 t and 800 m of berths available. The yard well established within the Mediterranean Sea, can accommodate vessel up to 6.000 dwt. Messina Shipyard
The Yard covers an area of 74.495 square meters with one dry dock well equipped with dock side cranes up to 40 T. The yard can accommodate vessel up to 268x36 m offering modern facilities as workshops, storage facilities and office for the administration and crew. Malta Shipyards
The yards cover more than 270.000 square meters with 7 dry docks up to VLCC one of which is a covered dock and three dedicated to the yachting division all equipped with dock side cranes up to 150 T, shore services and 1,3 km of berths available. The Yards can accommodate a larger segment of vessel, offshore units and offer also modern facilities such as workshops, storage facilities, office for the administration and crew, living area for customers. Marseille Shipyard
The Yard covers an area of 12.000 square meters with four dry docks, a watershed of about 95 mt and more than 300 mt of quay for afloat repairs. Ancona Shipyard
The Yard covers 50.000 square meters, one slipway and more than 445m of berths, travel lift of 570t. Located in the Adriatic sea, with an unrestricted entrance to the yard, the yard registers an incredible background and strong reputation in the new build division and a strong experience in major refit, repair maintenance and conversion of vessels.

Essential works are in progress on two ships at Palumbo Shipyards Messina: the CRUISE SARDEGNA, a 225-meter ship, and the CARTOUR DELTA, measuring 186 meters in length.

For the CRUISE SARDEGNA, the works include among many, full hull hydro-blasting, new silicone cycle treatment, tailshaft withdrawal, hubs replacement and the renewal of over 1 km of piping.

The CARTOUR DELTA is undergoing a full hull treatment, stern ramp repairs, and the replacement of 20 tons of steel and many other works.

A unique opportunity for visitors to witness firsthand shipyard operations in a safe and family-friendly .

A special day also to discover Palumbo's commitment to a better environment for all, visitors had the chance to admire the shipyard photovoltaic plants, learn more about the energy efficiency processes and discover all about the innovative procedure of surface treatment.
