Barolo is beautiful because it is still evolving

Barolo didn’t start as a legend.
It became one over time.

What I find most interesting isn’t just the history —
it’s where it’s going.

Every vintage, every decision in the vineyard, every new generation adds another layer.

That’s what keeps it alive.

Hot take: Barolo wasn’t always the wine of kings. 👑

In the 1800s, it was sweet, rustic… not exactly noble. Then Giulia Colbert saw the potential in Nebbiolo and changed everything. With her vision, Barolo went from humble hills to royal tables. 🍷

This is just the beginning of Barolo’s story — check out my blog post to see how it evolved through the Present and into the Future.

Barolo isn’t just a wine.
It’s main character energy.

From royal tables 👑
To wine rebels in the 80s
To a new generation rebuilding biodiversity 🌱

Past. Present. Future.

I recently presented this journey at a conference in Milano — and I just published the full story on the blog.

If you think Barolo is just “big red wine”… we need to talk.

THE SWEET HISTORY OF TORRONE

The name torrone is thought to come from the Latin word “torrēre” meaning “to toast” in reference to the roasted nuts that give it its signature crunch.

Italy embraced the torrone and made it a popular holiday treat, especially around Christmas.

Cities like Cremona and Benevento are famous for their unique takes on the recipe, blending egg whites, honey, sugar, and toasted almonds or hazelnuts into a soft, chewy nougat that’s as nostalgic as it is delicious.

Moscato d’Asti - The Sweet Sparkle of Piemonte

Looking for a wine that’s light, aromatic, and guaranteed to make everyone smile? Moscato d’Asti is your go-to bottle for celebrations big or small.

This gently sparkling sweet wine from Piemonte bursts with notes of peach, orange blossom, and honey-making it the perfect match for desserts, brunch, or just a sunny afternoon.

Beloved across Italy and beyond, Moscato is proof that not all wines need to be serious to be seriously good
